Our Process Starts with acommitment to Greener Cleaning. As a policy, we are committed to sustainable practices, utilizing products derived from renewable plant and vegetable sources from manufacturers we feel are committed to minimizing the negative impact of manufacturing and distribution on the environment . Our cleaners contain no petroleum based solvents or phosphates. They are Soap-Free, so they leave no residue, and are naturally hypo-allergenic.
Here's what we do:
Pre-inspection- Our IICRC Certified Technicians pre-inspect your carpet. Closely inspecting the carpet with you enables us to address specific areas of concern.
Protecting other floor coverings- We use protective pads to protect your other flooring from possible damage during the cleaning process.
Protecting your paint and woodwork- We make extensive use of special corner and edge guards to protect your home furnishings, paint, and woodwork.
Pre-vacuuming- We use powerful vacuums on truck mounted equipment to pre vacuum your carpet before cleaning. 60-70% of the soil in your carpet is dry particulate, which should be removed before wetting.
Pre-conditioning of Traffic Areas- We will apply CRI Seal of Approval preconditioning agents to your high traffic areas to lubricate and break down the soil and oils to assure maximum cleaning.
Spot Removal- All spots will be pre-treated, enabling removal during the cleaning process.
Stain Treatment- Spots that are not removed during the cleaning process are stains. Most stains will be treated at no additional charge, with one of 12 different stain removers carried on each truck.
Heavy Duty Hot Water Extraction (Steam Cleaning)-Our CRI Seal of Approval truck mounted steam cleaning equipment will provide the most thorough cleaning available, with the fastest drying times, while leaving the least residue.
Baseboard Cleaning- As an added benefit to the carpet cleaning, we wash down all exposed baseboards.
Edge Cleaning- When necessary, we use special Edge Filtration Cleaning to clean the "valley" where black lines (edge filtration soiling) acumulate around the carpet edges and under doors and in doorways.
Carpet Protector- Carpet protector is applied at the carpet mill during the last step in the carpet manufacturing process. This protector will wear off over time and should be reapplied after every cleaning. We use DuPont Advanced Teflon II. This is commonly referred to as the DuPont "StainMaster" treatment for carpet.
